Humbug Mountain

Last weekend we took our first annual Cornelissen family camp trip! I was ready to go! I love to drive daddy's bus.
I love to drink like a big girl, but mommy had already finished all her hot chocolate before she let me have her cup.
I love to play in the sand!
But it sure was tiring playing so much

Once daddy dug this water hole for me I just couldn't go to sleep, it was way too much fun!

But once we got back to camp I was exhausted

We had so much fun at the beach! I love being with my family

Weekend at the Beach

Last weekend we went to spend the day at Oceanside. I sure love the beach!


It was pretty windy, but I didn't care. I love to play with the sand


The next day we went to Depo Bay and I got to play on a new beach!

Some of the other kids let me borrow their sand toys, I had fun filling up the bucket


It was a little windy, so I had to fix my hair when we got back to the beach house.


By the end of the day I was exhausted! I am ready for a nap!

Blueberry Picking

My mommy took me to go pick some blueberries - I just wanted to play in the dirt.

Look at all the berries she got just for me!

She even let me try some and they were very yummy

Ho Down

This summer my parents took me to a ho down at the Swarts...I love to play with the swings!

The 4th of July

This year for the 4th of July we went to Tigard High School to watch the fireworks. There were so many people!
I loved to watch everyone all the time, even when I am eating my crackers.

It took a really long time for it to get dark enough that we could watch the show, and I was starting to get tired of waiting.

But once the show started it was so cool!

Strawberry Picking

Today I went strawberry picking with my mommy and her friend. I was so good the whole time, I always stayed in the rows, just like mommy, and I never pulled on the strawberry plants. Maybe mommy will let me have some later?


I saw mommy picking strawberries and I saw these really red one so I had to get them.


I think that mommy picked too many strawberries so I took some out of her bucket and tried to put them back on the plant.

I found a really cool strawberry! It was green!

Swim Class

My grandma and grandpa bought me some swim lessons! My mommy and daddy take turns taking me, and I love it!
We practice jumping off the edge of the pool and going under, this helps me remember to hold my breath when I'm on the edge of the pool and go in.

I love it when my daddy holds me in the water.

We get to practice floating on our backs

Elbow - elbow - tummy -knee...that's how you get out of the swimming pool. I love to get out to go on the slide!

I also really like to play on this jungle gym in the water.

Sometimes we get to wear floaties and they put toys in the water that we have to pick up and put into a bucket.
Here I am kicking to the wall on my back.

This is my favorite part of class - I get to go down the water slide!

I don't really like to swim on my tummy because sometimes my face goes in the water and I swallow it. Yucky!

I am so glad to have my swim lessons! Thank you grandma and grandpa!
