When we arrived at 11am I was already 7cm dilated!
By 1pm I was ready for an epidural, at that point I was already 10cm so I was hoping that things would go really fast. My family arrived to help support me just after that.
I started pushing but wasn't making any progress. After two hours the doctor told me that she was sunnyside up and it was possible that she wouldn't be able to fit. That gave me even more motivation to get her out, so I pushed for another hour with everything I had. However, when the doctor came back she informed me that she wasn't going to fit and we had to do a C-Section. So my family prayed for me.
By that time I was so exhausted I don't remember much about the C-Section other than I was numb from the neck down instead of the chest down, so I was not able to feel my arms. It went really fast and praise God that I was unable to make any progress as she had her cord wrapped around her neck twice! Now she is here and all safe and sound. We are both recovering really well.
